Why/how did you choose this career?
I witnessed the dramatic impact nutrition can have on health and performance at a young age when i was in the music industry. My decision to go and study nutrition was fuelled by own quest to a healthier more energised life. I suffered from malnjourishenet and my doctor wanted me to take anti depressants instead of noticing my nutritional deficiencies. This led my to question how much nutrition doctors actually learn and to enrol in a 3 years degree in nutrition and health, that was the very beginning for me.
What do you want to be remembered for?
Helping make nutrition accessible, appealing and healing relationships with food, a voice you can trust.
Most commonly asked question in relation to your job?
How do you become a successful nutritionist
If you could change 1 thing about the industry you’re in?
The regulation of the title nutritionist, anyone can call themselves a nutritionist and its very dangerous, it makes it hard for people to know who to trust.
