Health Habit

I recently changed my diet slightly to see the effect it had on my skin, hair and general mood and its been great.  I have tried to cut down on as much sugar as possible unless its natural sugars in fruit and vegetables but will still allow myself some chocolate every so often rather than everyday like I used to!  Here is a list of some food and drink that I would recommend if you want to try and improve your skin and hair.

– Green Tea or Herbal Tea ( I love the tea from YourTea)

– Drink least 2 litres of water a day, it will make your skin look and feel amazing if you stick to it.

– Avocado, Spinach, Watercress, Sweet Potato, Celery,  Beetroot, Broccoli, Carrots ( Its hard to eat all of these vegetables often so I have started juicing them along with apples, pears and grapes to make them taste really good and its the quickest way to get the nutrients into your body)

– Nuts like brazil nuts, walnuts, almonds, pecans, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.  These all contain good fats for you and are apparently really good for your hair!


Above are the ingredients that I regularly put in juices. It is the quickest way to get nutrients of my 5 a-day into my system.
